2017 MLB Playoffs: Friday prediction and discussion

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball post-season prediction and discussion thread for Friday, October 13th, 2017.

Yesterday we predicted that the Washington Nationals would defeat the Chicago Cubs by a 4-2 score in Game Five of the 2017 National League Division Series. This was, as they say, incorrect, with the Cubs pulling off a 9-8 win to advance to the Championship series.

This brings our post-season prediction score to 8-9.

Can we get back to .500 today?

The New York Yankees and Masahiro Tanaka will take on Dallas Keuchel and the Houston Astros this evening. I’ll take the Astros here, winning 5-2.
