Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Wednesday, October 11th, 2017.

Yesterday was Day One for the 2017 Arizona Fall League. Some highlights:

****Atlanta Braves pitching prospects Max Fried and Touki Toussaint threw a combined five shutout innings for the Peoria Javelinas against Glendale, with Fried fanning seven men in three innings and Toussaint whiffing four in two.

****Milwaukee Brewers prospect Lucas Erceg hit two doubles for the Salt River Rafters against Surprise.

****New York Yankees prospect Billy McKinney and New York Mets prospect Tomas Nido hit home runs for the Scottsdale Scorpions against Mesa, while teammate Justus Sheffield of the Yankees system threw five shutout innings, fanning six.
