I am now working on the Oakland Athletics Top 20 Prospects for 2017 report. The next team line line for analysis is the New York Mets, to be followed by the Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Brewers, Detroit Tigers, Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Angels, Miami Marlins, Toronto Blue Jays, and the Cincinnati Reds.

Use this thread to discuss the New York Mets organization. Some potential points for discussion include, but are certainly not limited to:

****The Mets finished 87-75 in 2016, second place in the National League Eastern Division. What's your take for 2017? 90 wins? More than 90 wins? Or do they slip back closer to .500?

****What are your expectations for Michael Conforto?

****This may be hard to believe, but Wilmer Flores is still only 25 years old. Does he have a serious breakout at some point, or does he continue to steadily improve, or does he stagnate?

****What's the maximum number of innings Steven Matz will ever throw in a full season?

****Robert Gsellman: is his performance down the stretch sustainable over the course of a complete campaign?

****Lay out a deployment timetable for Brandon Nimmo and Gavin Cecchini.

****As always, feel free to share your prospect sleepers or discuss anything else Mets-oriented.
