Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.

As most of you know, my mother Hilda Sickels suddenly and unexpectedly passed away last December. I think about her every day and miss her badly, but I wouldn't change what happened: she died in her sleep without any suffering or illness. We all have to go sometime, and if you have to go, that's the way to do it.. My sister and I know that this is how Mom wanted to die when her time came, and despite our pain, we are grateful that her wish was fulfilled.

So, for today, I honor my mother Hilda. And I honor my wife Jeri, who is an outstanding mother to our two sons.

Think about your Mom today. Do something nice for your Mom and for your wife if she is a mom. Don't waste time, and enjoy every moment you have with them.
