The rough draft of the 2016 Baseball Prospect Book is finished. It will take a couple of days to do some rapid editing, stitch the files together, and get it into PDF format, but this is almost done. The PDFs will go out later this week. The print edition will depend on the printer turnaround, but everyone who orders the print copy gets the PDF too (provided you give us a valid email address of course).
The book contains reports on 1,053 players.
What happens next:
***Editing and production, followed by PDF distribution. I will be posting the Sleeper Alert list and additional player comments later this week.
***The book will contain a Top 50 Hitting prospects and Top 50 Pitching prospects list.
***Once the PDFs go out, I will then take the 50/50 list and expand it into a Top 175 prospects list, which will be published here at Minor League Ball.
***This will be followed by an organizational rankings list.
***The Top 175 and the organizational rankings will be finished by the end of spring training.
NOTE: If you have ordered the book but cannot wait a few more days for the PDF version to be ready, please email me at JAsickels@aol.com and I'll see if I can help you out.
***If you haven't ordered, you can still do so of course!! The book is only available directly through me, and you can order it at Johnsickels.net.
This is the 21st edition of my prospect book. I do not know what the future holds, but I want to thank everyone who has been along for the ride.
