I am now working on the Pittsburgh Pirates Top 20 prospects list for 2017. The next team in line is the Chicago White Sox, to be followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers,Oakland Athletics, New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Detroit Tigers.

Use this thread to discuss the Chicago White Sox organization. Possible points for discussion include, but are certainly not limited to:

****The White Sox finished 78-84 in 2016, fourth place in the American League Central Division. This has prompted a rebuilding project, with the Sox trading off Chris Sale and Adam Eaton for prospects (more on that in a moment). What is a realistic expectation for 2017? Can they get back to .500?

****The big trades added five elite prospects to the system: Yoan Moncada and Michael Kopech from the Red Sox, and Lucas Giolito, Dane Dunning, and Reynaldo Lopez from the Nationals. Outfielder Luis Alexander Basabe and right-hander Victor Diaz from Boston are also intriguing. Are you satisfied with the prospect return for Eaton and Sale?

****What's your plan for the elite guys? Is Giolito in the rotation on Opening Day? Does Lopez start or relieve? Is Moncada ready? Timetables for Dunning and Kopech?

****What did you think of Tim Anderson's major league debut? The power/speed combination was exciting and his defense was excellent, but can he maintain his success over the long haul with his current aggressive approach?

****Should Carson Fulmer start or relieve?

****As always, feel free to discuss your sleeper prospects or anything else White Sox-oriented.
