Here is the preliminary prospect grade breakdown for 50 Tampa Bay Rays prospects, listed below.

Grade A:   Zero
Grade A-:  Zero
Grade B+: Three
Grade B:  Five
Grade B-: Four
Grade C+: 18
Grade C: 20

I have been working on this since yesterday afternoon and am really puzzling over some of the grades.

There feels like a lot of play all along the entire B-spectrum and you can make a case for two of the B+ guys to be A-. Even in the Cs there is a lot of uncertainty, with many players who could be "Grade C with higher potential". Trying to distinguish between those players and C+ types seems like a distinction without a difference sometimes, but I feel like something needs to be done to fight what feels like creeping grade inflation this year.
