Revised Baseball Prospect Retrospective now available

As many of you know, there will not be a Baseball Prospect Book for 2017. After 21 editions, it was time to retire the book.

However, that doesn’t mean we are going away!

In the fall of 2014, I wrote the Baseball Prospect Retrospective Report, summarizing my top prospect lists from 1996 through 2012 with a look at how each player did. The Retrospective Report is a skeleton and starting point for a larger prospect, the Historical Baseball Prospect Book. I don’t know when the historical book will be finished, but the Retrospective itself should be of interest to readers.

With the sunset of the BPB, I have revised the Baseball Prospect Retrospective to include all prospect lists through 2016. All the statistics have been updated, and an additional 30 pages of material have been added.
