On Wednesday we predicted that the Cleveland Indians would defeat the Chicago Cubs 5-3 in Game Two of the 2016 World Series. That was incorrect, of course, the youthful ursines defeating their opponents 5-1 to even the series at one game a piece. This brought our post-season prediction record to 17-10.
For tonight we'll have the battle of the control artists with Kyle Hendricks against Josh Tomlin. Every time I bet against Tomlin I lose, but the same is also true of Hendricks. We'll predict a hard-fought 3-2 victory for the Cubs due to a game-winning ninth-inning homer from Anthony Rizzo.
