Yesterday we predicted that the Cleveland Indians would defeat the Chicago Cubs in game one of the 2016 World Series by a 4-3 score. The runs were wrong but the outcome was correct, a 6-0 Tribe triumph. This brings our post-season game prediction record to 17-10 this year.
On paper it seems like the Cubs would have the advantage here, sending Jake Arrieta to the mound against Trevor Bauer. My logic says that the Cubs will win this one, but my instincts and gut give the opposite result. Today we'll go with instinct (which has proven correct more often than logic for me this post-season) and predict a 5-3 Indians victory.
