Taylor Rocha Introduction
Hi, I’m Taylor Rocha. I am an aspiring broadcast journalist, studying at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication from sunny southern California.
As a freshman, I gained experience with the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Pac-12 Network. Most recently, I work as a Campus Correspondent for ESPNU and as an Arizona Fall League reporter for SB Nation.
I am pursuing a degree in sports journalism with an emphasis in broadcast, along with a certificate in sales and marking essentials.
As a baseball enthusiast, I strive to work as an in-game reporter for a MLB team. My aim is to personalize sports journalism by bringing consistent warmth and authentic human interest to my broadcast, allowing for a further connection, appreciation and broadening of the sports community.
At ASU, I am the executive assistant of my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, broadcast weekly for the Walter Cronkite Sports Network and belong to the Association for Women in Sports Media.
Besides sports, I enjoy the beach, yoga, dogs, traveling, cooking, photography, brunch and spending time with loved ones.
Ever since I can remember, my dreams have been limitless as I strive to love what I do and do all things with love, create things I am proud of, work hard and take action towards my desired outcomes.
