Minor League Ball Diet Gameday - Tuesday, July 14th

Hello folks, its time for another truncated version of the Gameday. With only two leagues in action today, the Gulf Coast and South Atlantic Leagues,  I decided to make today short and sweet. The focus of today for most will likely be on the recent release of John's Top 75 Mid-season Prospect List, and the MLB All-Star game.

As far as the action in the minors today, the two biggest names toeing the rubber are Giants RHP Samuel Coonrod, and Royals RHP Scott Blewett. Coonrod, a 2014 5th round pick, comes into the game with a 5-3 record and 2.78 ERA while Blewett has a 2-1 mark with a 2.82 ERA. Not too shabby for 2014 2nd round pick  who just turned 19 years old at the beginning of the year and is already shoving full season ball.
