Hello to all Minor League Ball readers!  My name is Steven A. Krawczyk, and I am a new contributing writer.  I was born and raised (and still reside) in Buffalo, NY.  Despite what everyone thinks, Buffalo is not covered in snow for 365 days.  Buffalo is not covered in ice.  The thermometer goes above 10 degrees.  Last but not least, Buffalo was NOT the basis of Hoth.

Growing up, I've had the good fortune of having one of the best Minor League teams in my backyard, the Buffalo Bisons.  I was lucky enough to watch Jay Bell, a young Tim Wakefield, Brandon Phillips, Richie Sexson, Sean Casey, Victor Martinez, C.C. Sabathia, Cliff Lee, a pre-Cy Young RA Dickey, and Matt Harvey.  Now affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays, I can watch Daniel Norris, Dalton Pompey, and Devon Travis.  Not to mention the always entertaining Munenori Kawasaki.

With Minor League Ball, I will be covering the International League.  Lucky for me, the IL just received some exciting call-ups in Aaron Nola for the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, and Aaron Judge for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.  I also contribute to 27 Outs baseball, and you can find some of my previous work there.

If there is anyone/anything anybody would like me to write about in regards to the International League, please don't hesitate to include it in the comments section!

As always, feel free to check me out on Twitter, @SAKrawczyk.  I look forward to contributing to this great site!
