Hello everyone. I wanted to give you guys an update on where things stand.

First, my mother-in-law is back home and recovering well from her recent surgery. Thank you very much for all the warm thoughts that have been sent to her and Jeri and our family. It is much appreciated.

Second, Instead of working on the Pirates report this morning, I went to the doctor in honor of Jameson Taillon, Harold Ramirez, and Barrett Barnes, to get to the bottom of some physical problems I have been having in recent weeks. They think it is probably my gallbladder. Further tests are needed but my physician gave me some prescriptions that should reduce the distracting discomfort I have been experiencing. It is hard to write when you are nauseous for days a time. The meds should get my writing pace back up again.

With all these distractions, yes we are behind schedule right now, although not nearly as bad as last year. I should still have the Baseball Prospect Book done during the first week of February. The print copy turn-around will depend on the efficiency of the printer of course. We will keep you updated.

I hope to have the Pittsburgh Pirates Top 20 Prospects done tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.
