The 2014 Sleeper Alert List

Here is my list for "Sleeper Alert!" prospects as written up in the 2014 Baseball Prospect Book. The point of a Sleeper Alert is to get ahead of the publicity curve on a prospect and point them out before they break out into popular consciousness.

Generally speaking, fans who follow a particular organization closely are often aware of such players. For example, fans who follow the San Francisco Giants farm system in depth are likely aware of Joan Gregorio and Keury Mella. However, fans of other teams and people who aren't fanatic minor league junkies are most likely not aware of them. The Sleeper Alert serves as a heads-up to fantasy owners and general baseball fans about such players.

Here is the list for this year. Complete write-ups can be found in the book of course, but we will keep track of these guys as the season progresses. I will eventually post more detailed updates than just this list but I wanted to get the names out for you.
