Here is the latest on the 2014 Baseball Prospect Book.
I am working as hard as I can on it. I am still not functioning at 100%, which is very frustrating given that the concussion was five months ago. I have good days and bad days and mixed days. I tire easily. The good news is that my memory functions are fully intact again, but my ability to concentrate for long lengths of time remains compromised.
I am happy with the quality of my writing, but the speed at which I can write remains well below par for me. I suspect that this will remain so until I can take a complete no-stress rest for a couple of weeks or something of that nature, which my doctor tells me is necessary, but which is also simply impossible to do with my family obligations. Alas, any such rest will have to wait until the book is finished.
Almost everyone has been beyond patient with the situation and I am very appreciative of this. Yes, I know my health should come first. Unfortunately the mortgage company and the utility companies and the phone company and the grocery store and the credit union do not agree with this philosophy. Everything my family and my business, rests on getting the book done as soon as possible.
So, when will it get done? The Top 20 Prospect Lists track the book closely. My thinking is that I will finish in the next couple of weeks, but I can't offer a firm date yet.
Again, thank you for your patience.
