I am now working on the Kansas City Royals Top 20 Prospect list for 2015. The next team on the agenda is the San Francisco Giants, to be followed by the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, and New York Mets.
Someone asked me what order I do the teams in. By tradition, dating back to 1996, the first team is always the Minnesota Twins, followed by the Atlanta Braves, then the Kansas City Royals. After that there is no set pattern and depends more or less on whims and sometimes critical baseball news, although I alternate leagues and try to keep a geographical balance between east, west, and central clubs.
Use this thread to discuss the San Francisco Giants system. Possible points for discussion include, but are not limited to,
***There isn't much to complain about really when you win the World Series every other year. But fans nitpick, so here's your turn: what would you change about the Giants if you were running things?
***Joe Panik: fluke or not?
***Do you guys like Andrew Susac as much as I do?
***Will Kyle Crick's control improve enough for his stuff to matter?
***If you could combine Crick's stuff with Clayton Blackburn's pitchability and a guarantee of decent health, how many Cy Youngs would he win?
***As always, feel free to discuss your sleepers and underrated prospects, as well as your overrated ones.
