Good afternoon baseball fans. I was at a wedding yesterday and didn't make a Gameday post-season prediction, but we'll get back on the wagon today.
I'm going to predict that the San Francisco Giants defeat the Washington Nationals by a 6-5 score, with Madison Bumgarner proving human this time, and that the St. Louis Cardinals will defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-1 behind a gritty, "proven veteran leadership" outing from John Lackey that will get the cliches flying out of the pressbox.
In other news, did you see Cody Decker's Twitter chat yesterday on the Minor League Ball Twitter account? The most important revelation is that Cody Decker believes that Han Shot First. Kudos to Jessica Quiroli for setting the chat up.
UPCOMING TOPICS: I am working on pieces about T.J. House, Roenis Elias, Odrisamer Despaigne, Corey Kluber, Cory Spangenberg, Oswaldo Arcia, Marcell Ozuna, Ender Inciarte, and Prospect Retrospectives for retiring Adam Dunn, Josh Willingham, and Lyle Overbay.
I don't know the exact order in which the articles will appear, but there is a lot of material on the docket and I'll mix things up to keep them fresh. Then we'll start working on the Top 20 lists for 2015!
As always, use this thread to discuss anything baseball-oriented that strikes your fancy.
