Good afternoon baseball fans. Yesterday I predicted that the Tigers would defeat the Orioles 8-6, that Victor Martinez and Nick Markakis would hit home runs. That was partially right; Martinez homered, but as you know the Orioles were the victors 12-3. In the second game, I predicted that the Royals would defeat the Angels 3-2 and that's exactly what happened. This brings my post-season predictions score to 2-1.
For today, the Tigers/Orioles game is already underway so I won't make a prediction there. For tonight's American League contest, I predict that the Royals will keep the magic alive against the Angels with a 5-2 victory.
In the National League, I'm going to favor the Washington Nationals 6-3 over the San Francisco Giants, and the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 against the St. Louis Cardinals behind a complete game shutout by Clayton Kershaw.
What say you?
