Good evening prospect watchers. I apologize for the lateness of today's discussion thread. Here is a list of upcoming topics here at Minor League Ball: Yusmeiro Petit, Ahire Adrianza, Zach Walters, Jimmy Nelson, J.R. Murphy, Jose Ramirez, David Holmberg, Cody Asche, Stolmy Pimentel, Kevin Siegrist, Willie Banks, Pat Mahomes, and Paul Abbott. Order is to be determined.

***San Francisco Giants prospect Kyle Crick threw seven shutout innings Sunday in the California League playoffs for San Jose, fanning eight. High strikeout games are nothing new for him: he fanned 11 in seven innings in his final regular season start on August 29th, and whiffed a total of 95 in 69 innings of work this summer. He allowed just 48 hits, a .201 average, and only one home run all year, which is pretty damn remarkable for the California League. Crick still has some command issues to work through, but I think his ceiling is among the highest in the minor leagues.

I had Crick rated as a Grade B+ pre-season. Should I bump that up to A-, or are the walks (39) enough to keep him at a very high B+?
