Good morning prospect watchers. I am still on my baseball trip and won't return to normal operations until tomorrow. I am currently in Burlington, Iowa, watching the Quad Cities River Bandits play the Burlington Bees. Mark Appel pitches this afternoon for the River Bandits. Yesterday I concentrated on observing Carlos Correa and Rio Ruiz, plus I took some notes on a few others. I'll have a report for you tomorrow.
As a quick preview of tomorrow's comments, I'll just say that Correa is the type of guy who is impressive to see and watch even when he's not having a particularly great game. I had the same impression of Byron Buxton earlier this spring.
Appel will be my main focus today.
In the meantime, here is your gameday thread.
