Good afternoon prospect watchers. My main goal right now is working on the organization reviews, with other features taking second place until all 30 teams are done. Once the trade deadline passes, I have a nice pile of planned articles to work on including some Retros, but in the meantime the exact schedule around here will be dictated by outside events, with covering prospects involved in trades as the highest priority of all.

***All that said, Matt Garrioch got the 2014 MLB Draft season started today with his Extremely Early Draft Rankings report.

***Yesterday's Minor League Ball Gameday thread.

***Chicago White Sox prospect Micah Johnson stole his 71st base last night, and is hitting .326/.347/.411 in 21 games since being promoted to High-A Winston-Salem. Warning: his walk rate has collapsed since his promotion.

***Toronto Blue Jays prospect Dawel Lugo went 4-for-4 for Bluefield in the Appalachian League yesterday, raising his season line to .276/.301/.441 in 127 at-bats. Signed for $1,300,000 in 2011, he hit just .224/.275/.329 in the Gulf Coast League last year, so this is improvement. He's still just 18.

***Two more homers for Phillies prospect Maikel Franco last night, who is now hitting .817 in 31 games since being promoted to Double-A Reading (actually .370/.389/.598). He's drawn only three walks in those 31 games but has just 11 strikeouts in 127 at-bats.

***Randy Holt at Beyond the Boxscore takes a look at Junior Lake. Because you can never have enough Junior Lake. He's like the cowbell of prospects.
