My wife was struck down by a violent stomach illness of some variety last night, so I have been on sick spouse and kid patrol duty since about 10 PM last night. I really have no idea what is going on in the baseball world right now and haven't had time to review the scores and news. It is unlikely that I will have such time today, but nonetheless we have to get a Gameday thread up, so here it is.

***Yesterday's Gameday thread can catch you up on what happened.

***Today's schedule of minor league baseball games.

***Guess who leads the minor leagues in home runs? The answer is Max Muncy in the Athletics system and Ernesto Mejia in the Braves system, tied for the minor league lead at seven homers apiece. Muncy is an interesting prospect and I will write something more about him this coming week. I'll also be writing about Stetson Allie in the Pirates system soon. I was going to do that today, but family first.
