Good morning prospect fans. As always, use this thread to discuss today's spring training happenings in Florida and Arizona. Here are some additional items that you might enjoy.

***Scouts evaluate the Kansas City Royals and Jeff Zimmerman of Royals Review evaluates the report.

***The Royals are also looking for outfielders. I hear Johnny Damon and Vladimir Guerrero are available. A team looking to win like the Royals are this year might consider adding some veteran leadership to push them over the top.

***Michael Wacha looked outstanding again yesterday for the St. Louis Cardinals, fanning three in 2.2 innings against the Minnesota Twins.

***Seattle Mariners prospect Danny Hultzen is out with a strained hip flexor. Teammate Taijuan Walker, meanwhile, struggled with his command in yesterday's game, giving up three walks, four hits, and three runs in two innings of work.

***Coming up later today: Prospect Retro for Marlon Byrd, and more expansion of college baseball coverage with another new writer added to the stable, Christopher Slade. The idea is to have two college baseball articles per week between Christopher and Brendon, in addition to continued draft coverage of notable college prospects from Matt Garrioch and myself.
