Good afternoon prospect watchers. The 2013 MLB playoffs today continue today with National League Division Series action. The Cardinals take on the Pirates at 3 PM Eastern, followed by the Braves against the Dodgers at 8 PM Eastern. My predictions today:

The Pirates and the Cardinals will have a pitching-oriented contest, eventually won by the Pirates 2-1 in 11 innings.
The Dodgers will beat the Braves fairly handily by a 6-1 score. Ryu pitches eight shutout innings.

Someone asked me about how my previous predictions had gone. Let's take a look.
AL Wild Card Tie-breaker: Predicted: Rays 5, Rangers 3. Result: Rays 5, Rangers 2.
NL Wild Card: Predicted: Pirates 6, Reds 3. Result: Pirates 6, Reds 2
AL Wild Card: Predicted: Indians 4, Rays 2. Result: Rays 4, Indians 0.
NLDS Day One: Predicted: Cardinals 3, Pirates 2. Result: Cardinals 9, Pirates 1.
Predicted: Dodgers 5, Braves 0. Result: Dodgers 6, Braves 1.
ALDS Day One: Predicted: Red Sox 5, Rays 2. Result: Red Sox 12, Rays 2
Predicted: Athletics 7, Tigers 4. Result: Tigers 3, Athletics 2.
NLDS Day Two: Predicted: Dodgers 6, Braves 2. Result: Braves 4, Dodgers 3.
Predicted: Cardinals 6, Pirates 5. Result: Pirates 7, Cardinals 1.
ALDS Day Two: Predicted: Red Sox 6, Rays 3. Result: Red Sox 7, Rays 4.
Predicted: Athletics 3, Tigers 2. Result: Athletics 1, Tigers 0.
So, there have been 11 post-season games thus far. I'm 7-4 in predictions, which isn't bad, but small sample size!
