I am now working on the St. Louis Cardinals prospect list. The next team in line is the Chicago White Sox, to be followed by the Washington Nationals, Texas Rangers, Philadelphia Phillies, Tampa Bay Rays, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Use this thread to discuss the White Sox system. Some possible points of discussion (although you don't have to limit yourself to these)
***The White Sox under former GM Kenny Williams made a habit of trading off prospects for veterans. Do you think new GM Rick Hahn will adopt a different approach?
***It's not like the Sox system has been completely empty: two key parts of the pitching staff, ace Chris Sale and closer Addison Reed, are recent products of the farm system. Do you see anyone else close to the majors who can contribute something soon?
***The White Sox haven't been aggressive in the draft in recent years, although they boosted their spending in 2012 and are also making a greater effort in Latin America. If you were running things, what kind of talent would you be looking for in 2013, assuming you have a gun to your head and can't say the default "best player available."
***As always, feel free to discuss any sleepers you like.
