Chicago Cubs Preliminary Prospect List

The first run through gave me 57 possible names, which I have narrowed down to 49. I need to cut at least seven. There is more depth in this system than is commonly believed, although there is also a lot of Grade C.

There are several guys who pitched in the majors but who didn't get past the innings limit for rookie qualification. I'm not sure about their service time status and need to check those. Those would be easy cuts and allow more room for guys from the lower minors who are more interesting.
