As a take off of the study Rany Jazayerli did , I looked at ages for high school draft picks for the 2012 draft. I looked at both hitters and pitcher though. The age listed is as of 7-21-12, the cut off date for draft eligible sophomores. Here are the youngest of the bunch:

Some very interesting names are listed here. Carlos Correa maybe next seasons Francisco Lindor. He has massive potential and could get top 10 consideration. Considering Winston and Alford are also two sport guys, it gives them leniency for being a little less polished. They have a few extra months to catch up even though Alford may not need it at the plate. Brinson, Seager and Williams are also interesting as high upside talents. Definately some good names to watch if you like what his study showed.
