This was discussed a bit in the Minor League Daily post, and it's something I've been curious about. What is Bonderman going to be?

I have Bondy in two leagues, Fantasy and Strato, and I'm really wondering what he's going to be. He is virtually unhittable at times, sharp slider, 94 FB and he looks like a Cy candidate as he did for a good part of the beginning of this season.

Now, he's lost. I don't know if he's confused about pitch selection, what the problem is w/ his 1st inning issues, but he's lost.

He's only 24 years old and I don't want to cut bait on him, but when is enough enough? Is he going to be an All Star pitcher or is he going to be Paul Wagner, Pitts pitcher with great stuff-poor results?

Guys I'd like your thoughts on the following prospects

Dexter Fowler
Carlos Gomez
Cedric Hunter

Look into your resepctive crystal balls and give me your comments on which one will have the best career.

John gave all three a B rating. Each is full of potential, but there are flaws with all three.

The next time someone says that Terry Ryan is a GM genius or the BEST GM I shall point to this off season to refute such sentiments.

$4.3 for Carlos Silva
$3.1 for Ramon Ortiz
$1.0 for Sidney Ponson

Plus b/c of these contracts Garza, Baker, Perkins and even Slowey are blocked from the Starting Rotation.

Now they may put any or all of them in the pen, but look how they almost vanquished the prize arm of Liriano in the pen last year??

This is nuts and because the Twins are my second favorite team, it's maddening.

It appears that these prospects (if that's the word) have a shot at starting for their respective teams.

Kouz as Padres 3b (Branyan)
Sweeney as WSox CF (Anderson)
Garko as Cleve 1b (Blake/Michaels?)

There may be others too, but what do you think of their chances to start the season as the starter and holding it?

I know we've speculated a lot about Upton's position and others, but I'd like to see what you all think about TBay's positional alignment in the future. Tell me what the TBay positions looks like 3 years from now.

Is Longoria a 2b? Is Brignac a SS? Is Baldelli still there? Upton LF with Crawford at CF?

Papelbon and McCarthy are set to move from bullpen to rotation full time next year. Any thoughts on what we can expect from them in starting roles?

Frankly, I wonder if McCarthy may be better than Paps in this capacity. He has that great curve to go with the good FB and I'm not sure whant Paps secondary pitches are as he just blew the ball by hitters last year.

Any others making the move that you can think of?

So I was wondering about some prospects whose light shone brightly not long ago but now who's futures are dimmed.

Denny Bautista.
Dallas McPherson.
Edwin Jackson (closer?)
Philip Hughes or Homer Bailly.

Just kidding about the last two. Just thought we needed our daily Hughes-Bailly shot.

I'm watching the Twins game over the lunch hour and I saw Liriano leave the game after firing off a FB that was in the dirt. Immediately after the pitch, he walked off the mound, his arm somewhat dangling as he did. It appeared to be a shoulder injury, but nothing official yet.

As his owner in a fantasy league this sucks, but as a North Dakotan and occasional Twins fan, it really hurts.

Whatever happened to this guy? He's a ROY candidate with Cleve, gets hurt, bounces around to other teams and though I'm too lazy to check, I think he's now with Pitt.

Any thoughts on his future? Does he have a future? I read a great article about him after his rookie year. The kid is a Stanford grad I believe and sounded so intelligent and had the knowledge that fame is fleeting and success is difficult.

Now he's experiencing all that.

Anybody have an Adam Miller update?

I know they were "resting" the elbow for six to eight weeks or was it longer. I haven't heard any news so I'd be grateful to anyone with any info.

I'm interested because I drafted him in my Strato draft and a week later they announced the elbow problem.
