Is Edinson Volquez for real?

Looking back at this "True or False" John posted in March it appears that those going with True hit their mark, so far exceeding John's cautiously optimistic line...

However, is this sustainable?

Clearly a 1.32 ERA is not going to last forever, but there's something to be said for a guy who can limit teams to 2 or less earned runs through 12 starts in the Majors.

My thinking is that he will level off this season and end with a line something like this:

G    GS   W   L    IP      BB     K      ERA      WHIP

32   31  16   7   210   112   223   3.29      1.23

My real question though is how does he project in the future, beyond this season?  He's always had great stuff and questions have come about his command, but now it looks like he's put it all together - can he keep it together?

Homer gets the call

"RHP Homer Bailey's seasoning in Class AAA Louisville ends Thursday, when the right-hander is expected to start in Philadelphia. The start was to belong to RHP Josh Fogg, but after Saturday's catastrophe (six runs, seven hits in 3 1/3 innings), Fogg landed on the disabled list Sunday with lower back spasms. Bailey was scheduled to pitch Sunday in Louisville, and he did, but he went only two innings before he was pulled. Bailey was 4-4 with a 4.52 ERA at Louisville after going 4-2 with a 5.76 ERA in nine starts last year with the Reds"

How immediate will his impact be?
