Welcome any and all Padres fans that wish to participate. The plan of the day is pretty well set. The exact names to be selected is still up in the air but there are enough players I like being targeted for each round that it should result in some great picks for the Padres.
Round one: looking to go BPA with the most upside
Names: Chavis, Holmes, Conforto, Reid-foley, Tuissant
Round two: looking to go upside, probably HS
Names: Jackson Reetz, Forrest Wall, Matt Imhof, Cameron Varga , Chase Vallot, Carson Sands, Garrett Fulenchek, Michael Cederoth, Keith Weisenberg, *** a mystery name may be popped in this round that hasn't been discussed
Rpund three: looking to take the best college arm available. I'm not in love with any college hitters at this point.
Chris Oliver, Jacob Lindgren, Taylor Sparks, Zech Lemond, Matthew Railey, Spencer Turnbull , Jake Stinnett, JD Davis, Jordan Foley, Jake Cosart, Jordan Brink, Eric Skoglund , Wyatt Strahan , Colin Wellman
Round four: back to BPA with the most upside, HS or college
Trey Supak, Sam Travis, Cole tucker, Bobby Bradley, Austin De Carr, Bryce Montes De Oca, Aramis Garcia, Chris Ellis, Gareth Morgan, Andrew Suarez, Keaton McKinney, Trace Loehr, Evan Skoug, Conner Joe, Casey Soltis, David Peterson, Cameron Bishop, Tanner Houck, Kel Johnson
Signability will be considered, but more so in the 3rd or 4th round
A lot of names listed. This is in part to conceal the absolute favorites and in part because I think this draft is incredibly deep with HS arms throughout the first 4 to 5 rounds. Lots of talent.
Discussion is welcome, especially if you have information on sign abilitty.
