I see these guys aren't on the community top 100 (yet, at least), but in a deep league I'm looking for a upside bat to fill out my minor league roster. Position doesn't matter, so if McMahon moves off 3b or stays there, I'm good.
My league is a points league, so TB, RBIs, runs, SB, BB, HBP count. The point totals skew towards OPS in general which is a quick way to gauge value.
Parker looks to have more established power, but Bonifacio looks to have a more refined hitting approach with everyone saying he could start to flash more game power soon. Both have the potential to be in the league by 2015.
McMahon is a few years away but the scouting reports are glowing.
At this point almost all of the top 80 prospects are gone, so I have to dig a bit deeper. But since we can cut guys at will in this league I can afford to swing and miss. Obviously I rather have a guy who has a higher floor, but if, for instance, McMahon has a much higher upside then he might be worth it.
Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks guys.
