The league is in the middle of its second year. There is a really good group of baseball junkies occupying about 26 of the 30 teams. I believe I have at least 4 openings right now from guys who have disappeared since the start of the season. The league started with a full MLB and MiLB draft with no initial keepers. Each team has $100M in salary cap to work with, plus an additional $5M signing bonus stipend that can only be used on MiLB free agents. We are approaching our one and only MiLB FA signing period coming up around the All-Star break. We use this time similar to the MLB's July 2nd signing day. The difference being we can only sign MiLB free agents who are currently unowned and were under a professional contract by the start of the MLB regular season. Meaning all 2013 draft picks and international signings go into our off-season draft pool. Each team has a 70 man max roster, 25 MLB guys and a 55 man minor league roster. Minor league players do not count towards the salary cap, meaning if you know what you are doing with prospects you can quickly build a winner. The only roster restrictions on your 70 man roster is players with an MLB style contract cannot be sent to the minors unless they are on the DL. Meaning you can roster 70 prospects if you like, or send young pre-arbitration type players to the minors. If you have any questions or want to potentially join our league, please contact Matthew at Spliffy22@Aol.com
Also, the league is run day to day on Proboards with the stat keeping done by FanTrax.
