With the fourth overall choice, my plan for the Minnesota Twins is to take whichever of the Top Four guys is still on the board without regard for "organization needs" this high up. For me the top four are clearly Jonathan Gray of Oklahoma, Mark Appel of Stanford, Kris Bryant of San Diego, and Georgia high school outfielder Clint Frazier. Right now i would rank them Gray/Appel/Bryant/Frazier.
For the subsequent rounds, I don't have any particular ideas yet. The farm system could definitely use help behind the plate, at shortstop, at first base, and with left-handed pitching. For propaganda purposes it would be nice if Minnesota lefty Tom Windle was available in the second round, but I'm open to suggestions. Perhaps something like this:
1) Gray or Appel or Bryant or Frazier
2) Windle? or best-available left-handed pitcher
3) Best available catcher or SS
4) Best available catcher or SS
I prefer a mixture of high school and college talent.
