I am not a scout and was just watching from the third base stands but this is what I can tell you.
The temperature was 41 at first pitch. He through 66 pitches, 36 strikes. He was spotting his fastball well. Although he seemed to have a hard time with his breaking/off speed stuff, maybe because of the temperature. He went to a full count on the first 4 batters of the game, although none of them reached base. He pitch 4 innings and struck out 4. He was on a 70 pitch count according to Coach Van Horn. He did allow one home run that no one thought was going out when it was hit, the batter even stopped on second base because he thought it was a ground rule double, I guess and had to be told that the ball had went out by the umpires. Arkansas scored 2 in the first and 5 in the third, so Stanek was pitching with a lead most of the outing. Stanek was awarded the win even though he did not go 5 innings.
His final line.
