Community Ratings of Last Year's Rookies- Number 19

Nolan Arenado, who had been in a run off the round before, edges Martin Perez for number 18 on our list, becoming just the seventh position player in our top 18. Seventeen points for Arenado, beats out Perez with 14.

Voting totals for others last round were 7 for Arcia, 6 for Miller, 4 for Ryu and Franklin, and 2 for Adams. No votes for Iglesias, Martin and Straily.

Based on input last round I am slightly adjusting the plan for this series of polls. We are going to go to round 22 and then do a final round in which everyone gets three votes. Depending on the totals, that will at least allow me to fill out the list to 25 and perhaps to specifically identify numbers 23, 24 and 25. So, we are temporatily dropping Leonys Martin, Jose Iglesias and Dan Straily who didn't receive any votes this past round in expectation of giving them one more chance. However, from this point forward, zero votes does get you permanently dropped.

Temporarily Dropped- Tyler Skaggs 0 votes (round 15), Avisail Garcia 1 vote (round 17), Jared Cosart 0 votes (round 17), Leonys Martin 0 votes (round 18), Jose Iglesias 0 votes (round 18), Dan Straily 0 votes (round 18)

We are returing Juan Lagares and Khris Davis to the ballot. We are getting Alex Wood on the ballot for the first time this round.

That leaves Jedd Gyorko and AJ Pollock still to get on. With this adjustment to our scheduleI could add one more player to this list. Make suggestions or I'll take a look at it and pick someone myself.

So who is the #19 prospect for future performance among last year's rookies? If any clarification is needed, we are essentially rating this group of players for their future as if they were still prospects, the same as we did last year when they had their rookie eligibility. As a reminder voting is by +1 for your #1 candidate, and +2 for your #2
