Although a number of candidates drew support, round 2 goes to Yasiel Puig, who receives the most first place votes and the most votes altogether. Based on the three points for a first place vote, one point for a second place vote scoring system, Puig gets 24 votes, followed by Myers with 16, Cole at 12, 5 for Shelby Miller, 3 for Wacha (write it), 2 for Profar, 1 for Salazar and 1 for Gray (write in). No votes for Julio Teheran or Zack Wheeler.
2. Yasiel Puig, Dodgers, Outfielder
I'm going to drop Julio Teheran for a round or two. I'm going to put back Trevor Rosenthal, and also add Sonny Gray and Michael Wacha, who drew a bit of support by write in, and were on the short list to be added soon anyway.
So, who is the third best prospect for future performance among last year's rookies? As a reminder voting is by +1 for your #1 candidate, and +2 for your #2 candidate.
