Contrarian Discussion: The Toronto Blue Jays Farm System

Perhaps the dreary, depressing fields of drought-dried dead corn were damaging my brain, but while driving through rural Iowa yesterday, an idea for a new feature popped into my head. We'll call it "Contrarian Discussion." The idea here is for me to throw out a contrarian idea and see if I can get a flamewar started...er...I mean, an enlightening discussion.

So, here is the first topic. Note: I'm not saying I believe this is true, but let's see if it might be true.

Contrarian Statement: The Toronto Blue Jays farm system, which everyone likes to praise, is in reality highly overrated.

To get the full impact, you have to imagine that being said with full Christopher Hitchens accent and affect. Perhaps including scotch and a cigarette.
