I've got the Gameday thread today guys. I thought I'd make some coffee and, throw one up early for today. Some probables for tonight . . .

AAA- Tyler Skaggs (4-1, 1.70), Jeurys Famillia, Julio Teheran (I can't bear to watch), Jake Odorizzi

AA- James Paxton (has thrown ball really well since coming off DL in early July), Brandon Morrow on a rehab

A+, A, the rest of the kids - Kyle Gibson is stepping up to the FSL, Austin Wright, Daniel Hernandez (44ks, 4BBs), Daniel Norris, Taylor Scott, Victor Sanchez

Also Mike Zunino debuts for Jackson Generals tonight, and will be catching Paxton. Very excited about this promotion. Watching Zunino in Everettt I felt he was able to think ahead of the pitchers there. The AA pitchers will be much better but, will they be smarter as well?

I'm looking forward to Yosiel "The other Cuban Tank" Puig's debut in the Cal League tonight, for Rancho Cucamonga. After not having played organized baseball for a year, he pounded AZL pitching for the past week (9 games, 3 triples, 4 bombs, 6 walks). This will be a good test for him and, good for prospect watchers as well, to get some idea of how good this guy really is.
