Right now I'm looking solid for my prospects, but I want to see if I can deal to get Profar. Obviously he's the #1 prospect in the minors, and I own some very good ones but my goal would be to stock the top shelf with him.
Right now, here's who I own (for prospects) in roughtly the order I value them:
Francisco Lindor SS
Carlos Martinez SP
Trevor Story SS
Rougned Odor 2B
A.J. Cole SP
Nick Delmonico 2B/3B
Henry Rodriguez 2B
William Swanner C/OF
Chris Reed SP
Kyle Parker OF
The league is a 20 team league. I am currently 5-7, about to be 5-8 tomorrow. I don't have any overwhelmingly great MLB pieces I'd like to deal right now. The other guy said he'd only consider a deal with Profar that included Taveras, so he has to be one piece. I'm looking for a fit of the rest of the guys. Positional eligibility doesn't matter because I'm looking to make the best deal, and there's always ways to make pieces fit through other trades (very active trading league).
I was considering something like Taveras and Story, or Taveras and two of the guys below A.J. Cole. Anybody have any input? I am hoping to be a playoff contender in 2013, with a championship team in 2014-2015. And most importantly not to forget, I own Mike Trout (ha).
Any feedback would be greatly helpful, and thanks in advance!
