Hey Buddies! Sorry, no AAA games today, just the pagentry of the AAA All-Star game in Buffalo, New York. Anybody going? Shoot, I may even watch the thing after I have a glass or two of homemade sangria to open up my scouting, third-eye. Have fun tappin' the keys about the other games. Here are the starters . . .

AA- Zeke Spruill, some guy named Zach Rosscup makes his AA debut for Tennessee. His line thus far this season is 9IP 3H 0ER 0R 0BB 16Ks. He is also 24, so don't get too excited perhaps.

A Plus - Jesse Biddle, Luke Jackson, Josh Osich, Ian Krol, Adrew Chafin, Asher Wojciechowski, Christian Bergman is perhaps not a prospect, at age 24 but, he skipped a level to the tough Cal League and has had a nice season (11-5, 3.11ERA, 24BB 77KS in 104.1 Innings).

A - Henry Owens is very tall, Justin Nicolino, AJ Cole

Oh and, here is tid-bit for you on my favorite ballplayer in the minor leagues (at least for a bit longer) Oscar Taveras. Oscar is 20 years old and, has a slugging percerntage of .593 in the Texas League. Here are all the players who have slugged .500 in the Texas League, at the age of 20 or younger, in the past 20 years . . . Mike Trout, Eric Hosmer, Colby Rasmus, Billy Butler (.499), Hank Blalock, Adrian Beltre, Ruben Mateo, Paul Konerko, and Bobby Abreu. Jon Singleton and Jurickson Profar both have a shot to do that this year as well. Every one of those ballplayers became All-Star major leaguers, except Ruben Mateo, and Colby Rasmus (not yet). Taveras is also having a better season than most of them did as well :)
