A very limited day of minor league action is on tap today. The vast majority of leagues are off today, so the pitching slate is decidedly thin.
Today's notable starters, via @jaypers413: David Filak, Clay Blackburn, Tyler Anderson, Erik Johnson vs. Mike Foltynewicz, Noel Arguelles. (Only 3 leagues today).
One pitcher not going today is Jose Fernandez. He has drawn significant praise of late, as this [free] Baseball America article describes:
Scout after scout has come back buzzing after seeing Fernandez this year. Some even prefer Fernandez to Pirates righthander Gerrit Cole (the top overall pick a year ago) and Mariners lefthander Danny Hultzen (the second overall pick). It's high praise, but with his combination of electric stuff and the potential to rocket through Miami's farm system, it's well deserved.
