According to Jm Callis, the Astros are going to sign Lance McCullers Jr. tomorrow after he takes his physical. Callis also reports that the bonus is 2.5 million, 1.25 million over the slot. The Astros have 1.3 million saved as of right now and that number could increase after the signings of the three college players who are still in the CWS. That means they will have a decent shot at signing both Rio Ruiz and Hunter Virant, two high schoolers who have 1st round talent, but fell due to signability issues.

As an Astros fan, this is huge for the franchise. Even if we get just Ruiz or just Virant, we'll be adding three 1st round talents to our system in just one draft. Could be one of the greatest drafts in franchise history, in terms of talent acquired.
