So for this year's draft the Milwaukee Brewers have 2 first round pick and a pick in the sandwich round. Now it does make sense to draft a whole lot of bats this year, as the Brewers' farm system is very thin on bats, but they should not ignore good pitchers if they are available.
One draft pattern that I have noticed in the past few draft with the Brewers is that they have a preference for big, strong pitchers who can potentially chew up a ton of innings, or guys with great power potential.
The Brewers can use much of their picks on hitters, but my guess is that they'll still aim to get at least one pitcher with their picks, as they have been very pitcher-heavy in the past couple of drafts.
Some players that should be around by the time the Brewers draft:
RHP Ty Hensley
3B Trey Williams
3B Richie Schaffer
RHP Lucas Sims
RHP Nick Travieso
1B Adam Brett-Walker
OF Victor Roache
RHP Walker Weickel
So who should the Brewers draft?
