Mock Organization Diary #6 for the New York Mets, Minor League Ball Community Mock Draft 2012
In this MOD, we will discuss the previous ones. We have connected the lists. We have until Saturday morning to finish this. After that, we start our War Room for the mock draft.
The current plan is to take the best player available with the first pick, without regard to organizational needs. With picks 1.35, 2.71 and 2.75, we're biased towards selecting two catchers (one prep and one collegiate who project to stick behind the plate,) and one left handed pitcher. That may change. Pick 3.107 will either be the best player available, or a catcher if we were unable to select two in the previous rounds.
