Community Positional Prospect #60/#61 RUNOFF
We are going to do a 4 way runoff. There was no other choice! Choices are Aaron Hicks, Matt Davidson, Matt Adams, Charlie Blackmon.
Please reply with a +1 for the best player and in the body of your post write 2nd: So and So, 3rd: So and So. For scoring I'll either eliminate the lowest vote-getter or two lowest vote getters (if the two top separate themselves) and use the extra votes to run the remaining players off.

I will add that I see it as VERY close among these four, although they are dissimilar players.

Stop me if you've heard this before. An Atlanta team chokes in the postseason...
I say we put the top two highest point totals on
And move on two poll 62.
Well
The highest vote getter of these guys only got 5 votes in the open poll. One player not in this poll got 3 votes so he could emerge or one of the several 2 vote guys could emerge as well. If there is a CLEAR CUT #1 and #2 guy from this poll, with #3 and #4 trailing way behind, I guess I’ll consider it, but I’m not committing to that either.

Points as of 12:00 PM EST
Name 1st 2nd 3rd Points
Hicks 10 9 7 55
Adams 12 5 5 51
Davidson 4 11 10 44
Blackmon 6 6 9 39
Looks like Adams and Hicks clearly ahead of the other two.
I agree with the above suggestion. Put Adams as #60, Hicks as #61 and move on.
Except
That’s not how it works out.
You exclude Blackmon & Davidson, allocate their preferences and Hicks wins, 17 to 15. Hicks should be #60. I offer no opinion on whether to elect Adams as #61 immediately or not.
update
Name 1st 2nd 3rd Points
Hicks 10 9 7 55
Adams 13 5 5 54
Davidson 4 12 10 46
Blackmon 6 6 10 40

Looks like we either go with first place votes in a tie
Or run off Hicks and Adams.

It comes down to Hicks vs Adams, and if you run them off, at this point, Hicks wins by 1. So Hicks is the winner. But Adams was a super close 2nd, and really separated himself from the other two. I’m going to add both guys. I think with a 4 way runoff, that is fairly reasonable, especially since Adams actually did have the most 1st place votes (double either Davidson or Blackmon).
