Keeper League Draft Quesiton
In a dynasty keeper league that tends to favor pitching, which of these young pitchers would you take?
Darvish is off the board already.
Trevor Bauer, Gerrit Cole, Dylan Bundy, or Danny Hultzen
Some catergories that are emphasized in the league are CG, IP, W, K. Team has been in the basement the past few years, but has some pieces that might be coming together in the near future, so long term value is big, but time to the majors is still a relatively big factor.

I would take Bauer
But I am nowhere close to an expert and am just a frequent reader of minor league ball, I’m just relying on what i’ve heard from others when I say that I’d take Bauer.

Definitely Bauer with Bundy a close second
Bauer should contribute very fast, supply you with long term value, and do well in all of those categories.
The value pick would be Bauer seeing as how hes nearly MLB ready, with a probable call up during the summer, but the high risk high reward pick is definitely Bundy, a player who atleast 2 years away, but has the tools to be one of the best pitchers in the game when he comes up. The kids a stud, so it all depends on if your all in now or your more of a rebuilding team
Alex Bunbury = good. Teal Bunbury = a colour
Cole
Has the biggest upside. I would be tempted to go with him, especially in a smaller league. Bauer is the only other one I’d really consider for a fantasy league drafting now.
near future?
what exactly is your eta for contending? If winning this season or the next is realistically a possibility then I’d go Trevor Bauer as he comes with the most immediate impact value, but if you are looking at 2014 and beyond I’d go with Dylan Bundy. I believe Bundy very well could be in the majors by then but given the Orioles current roster structure wins will be hard to come by early on. The fact that Bundy is even in discussion says a lot about his skill set and natural ability, certainly the D-Backs project to have a more favorable bullpen and lineup in the next few seasons.
Thanks!
To everyone who voted and commented. I ended up going with Bauer. I couldn’t pass up the high ceiling and his proximity to reaching the majors. It wasn’t an easy decision though. Bundy was very tempting!
