When people say something like his "floor is .280 with 15 homers it drives me crazy, every prospect that is not a hitter and is not in the top 20 of baseball america's top 20 prospects is more likely to bust than to have an average major league career. I hate "ceiling" too, but players play worse than their "floors" much more often than they play better than their ceilings. 60% of Baseball America's top 10 pitchers bust too, so keep this especially in mind when using "floor" for pitchers.
