Community Top Rookies for future performance number 9

With two thirds of the runoff vote, I'm glad to announce that Matt Harvey beat out Yasmani Grandal for the number 8 spot in our poll. I'm glad despite the fact that I had voted for Grandal earlier that round, given the news that came out during the runoff vote about Grandal using PED's. I'll put Grandal back on the ballot and we can collectively decide how much the news of the suspension impacts our view of him.

The voting in round 8 itself was:Matt Harvey 31%, Yasmani Grandal 31%, Jarrod Parker 16%, Jesus Montero 7%, Anthony Gose 3%, Todd Frazier 3%, Wade Miley 3%, Devin Mesoraco 3%:

1. Mike Trout Outfielder Los Angeles Angels (83%)

2. Bryce Harper Outfielder Washington Nationals (100%)

3. Manny Machado Infielder Baltimore Orioles (47%)

4. Matt Moore, Pitcher, Tampa Bay Rays (45%)

5. Yu Darvish, Pitcher Texas Rangers (48%)

6. Yoenis Cespedes, Outfielder Oakland A's (50%)

7. Andrelton Simmons, shortstop, Atlanta Braves (27%)

8. Matt Harvey, Pitcher New York Mets

I'm going to temporarily drop the two who didn't get any votes last round, Tom MIlone and Lance Lynn although they are still eligible as write ins..

Temporarily dropped: Will Middlebrooks 0% (round 7), Erasmo Ramirez 0% (round 7), Tom Milone 0% (round 8), Lance Lynn 0% (round 8)

With no strong outcry to add anyone else right now, I'm going to add Devin Mesoraco, who got a write in vote last round, and bring back Yonder Alonso and Jean Segura.

Ryan Cook, Kelvin Herrera, Drew Smyly, AJ Griffin, Chris Carter, Starling Marte and Brett Jackson, are among those I am looking at adding in the coming rounds. Please suggest more names, or your favorites among that group, below.

So, who do you think will have the best future performance among last year's rookies in the number 9 slot?
