GM Dayton Moore, Yes the GM of the Kansas City Royals is after pitching. Its no secret. Already bringing in Ervin Santana and Jeremy Guthrie, His present day rotation projects to something like: Hochevar, Santana, Chen, Guthrie and Duffy , with Paulino and Odorizzi likely fighting for spots in the spring. But that apparently isn't enough for Moore, can't say i blame him. But today the thought of dangling top Prospect OF'er Wil Myers for a guy like Jon Lester or even James Shields of the AL East just comes off rather disgusting or desperate, it just seems silly. MLB Trade Rumors speculated today, that something like Lester and MLB ready OF help for Myers and a pitching prspect like maybe Dwyer or Adams. Seems to have been already discussed by both teams. No Deal is even close to being official, but isn't it a dispicable act at even the thought of such a deal for Dayton Moore and the Royals franchise?... what could they possibly be thinking? Its one thing if it ends up as Jackie Bradley JR and Lester for Myers and Dwyer but Cody Ross and Lester for Myers and anybody....just seems outrageous to me, and I know i'm a prospect first guy but i feel the whole baseball industry today would have to feel likewise.
